ADDITIONAL MODS:
I have an MPFI LPG system (Liquid Propane Gas) that I use for daily driving purpose. It used an alternate computer to run. It works fine, on Power WOT when it runs out of presure turns automatically to gasoline.
LPG 118 Octane, Gasoline 110 Octanes always.
Gasoline performance is best due to the propietary BTUs (higher) You can tell the diference.
For strip only in gasoline and light weigth.

Update: Pulley and Programming Complete.
The smaller pulley and tuning has a produced a very tame truck during normal driving.
Hit the gas and the tires will spin at will!
Once slicks are ordered, we'll update with new track times

Currently runs 13.76@97mph before tune and pulley; traction limited.
New track times coming soon.

This truck was sold and replaced with an '05 Silverado ext. cab.
Radix, tune and a healthy cam are waiting to be installed!

Current mods are: Nelson Tuning, Volant cold air, 4.10', 20's.

Louis wanted more power than his 4.8L could produce. After discussing the details, it was decided that a new 6.0 LQ9 with worked aluminum heads would do the trick.
This engine should produce close to 420hp/420lb-ft. when completed.

Future mods include: Magnaflow cat-back, underdrive pulleys, Yank 3000 Stall

Current mods are: Radix charger, 3.0" pulley, Headers, cold-air intake

Bill decided it was time to crank up the HP on his brand new SS.
Nelson Performance just installed the Radix Magnacharger on this awesome SS.
You'll notice a toolbox along with bedrails installed,
don't let that fool you. This truck will be one
powerful ride.

14.6 in the 1/4 with 800lbs in the bed!!

Future mods include:
Cam, LT headers, 3000 Stall

Mod Results: 3.0" pulley- Boost went from 5psi to 7psi.
No knock retard detected.
There is a noticeable gain with the pulley installed. The truck no longer loses power in 3rd gear. It continues to pull through all gears. Track results coming soon.
Mod Results: Nelson Programming - The PCM Program came out great, the truck is obviously a lot faster
The SS actually peels out for about 4feet, before the tune we were lucky to get it to chirp the tires when taking off
The pulley helped with 3rd gear, but now that a shift kit and servo, along with tuning is done, the SS pulls just as hard in third as it does in 2nd.
1/4 Mile Update: 13.9 in the 1/4 mile. Truck did lose some weight in the bed, but the toolbox was still full.
Mods Update: Competition Cam install next month, mid to low 13's with an empty toolbox and cam is the goal.
